Eukanot, Citra & Azacca hops meet Vienna Malt and Windor Yeast, it’s needless to say this pale ale pops off. Lowtide’s West Coast Hop Lock is a perfectly balanced pale ale loaded with heavy hoppy aromas that leave you with a subtle but lingering bitterness. Reminiscent of the good ol’ days, this pale is the party we didn’t know we needed, but we all certainly deserve.
The people behind Lowtide:
The story behind Lowtide started back in the Summer of 2019. At the time, Interior designer, Rob, and Financial Adviser, Dave, began an in-depth exploration of alcohol-free craft beers. While doing so, they set up Crafty AF, a subscription service for all the best alcohol-free craft beers they could find from around the world. That journey eventually led them to want to do more for the alcohol-free scene. And so, Lowtide Brewing co was born.
Now, Lowtide is on a mission to fill the void of beer types left unexplored. As a result, they’re combining stellar can artwork, a sense of crafty defiance and deliciously different alcohol-free beer, Lowtide Brewing Co seeks to bring true craft beer to the world of alcohol-free.
To sum up, they’ve created unique beers with unique artwork and unrivalled flavour!
Alcohol-Free Beers are made just like the alcoholic ones with water, yeast, hops and barley. But then, some are brewed to a lower ABV and others have the alcohol removed through various techniques. To clarify, across Europe beers below 0.5% ABV are classed as alcohol-free. However, in the UK, drinks that are between 0.05% and 0.5% ABV are classed as non-alcoholic.
